Movie Review – Captain America Civil War

Toronto, ON, Canada / SayRadio

Probably one of the most anticipated movies of 2016, Civil War takes the viewers on a rather fun and emotional 2 hour adventure where your favourite Marvel superheroes go on an all out war against each other. Who wouldn’t want to see that, right? Read this and decide for yourself. The movie takes place after the events of the last Avengers movie, known as “The Age Of Ultron.”. Thor has gone back to his planet, Hulk missing, and Tony Stark “retiring” from the hero business, Captain America, Steve Rogers, leads the new Avengers as a peacekeeping organization that operates worldwide. Things do not go that smooth however, the world decides that the Avengers are actually dangerous for the world itself due to their superpowers and how their fights affect civilians and their normal lives, the United Nations decides to put the Avengers on a “leash”. Captain disagrees of course, and to top this all, his old friend, Bucky, the winter soldier appears once again, where Captain ends up deciding to sacrifice his status as a Hero and help his old friend with his troubles, which causes a divide between the Avengers, ending up in Tony Stark wearing is Iron Man suit once again to lead the other half to stop Captain and those who follow him. The actors did play their parts well, it was the same cast we grew to like over the years, the stunts and the CGI effects were entertaining to watch, and the cast of Heroes was definately a true fanservice for the fans of Marvel Universe. Other than some usual cliches here and there, it was a fun movie that I would rate 7.5/10.
