The Talk around the town is that the Golden State Warriors took the easy road to the NBA championship. To some, the Warriors avoided playing the likes of the San Antonio Spurs or the Los Angeles Clippers on their way to the NBA Finals in a tough western conference. But others would believe that those particular teams missed their opportunity to play against the champions. According to NBA.COM The Golden State Warriors won a franchise record 67 games during the Associations regular 82 game schedule. During that great winning streak, Star Player for the Warriors Stephen Curry Took another step into the  Superstar level of the NBA. Curry’s Play helped team mates like  Klay Thompson, Dremond Green, Harrison Barnes, Andrew Bogut, Shaun Livingston, just to name a few player elevate their game to new level. Along this journey Stephen Curry was voted a start at the 2015 All Star weekend at Madison Square gardens, for the first time in his career. Curry Continued his dominance after the All Star Break earning himself the MVP award, Breaking his own record Three Point made in a single season. Curry wasn’t the only player on the team that gain accolades for the successful year they  had. Dremond Green finished second in defensive player of the year award, small forward Andre Iguodala was also second in six man of the year award. Capturing the individual awards along with the team success is just the tip of the iceberg for how good of a basketball team the Golden State Warriors are. The Warriors played a wounded, but still fighting Cleveland cavaliers Team in the NBA Finals for 7 hard games only to come away with the Larry O’Brien Trophy. The prize everyone workouts supper hard for in the off-season, pushing their bodies to the limit day in and day out. Practise 3 times a day starting at 5 Am-12-4 pm, all for the chance to be standing at the top of the mountain when it’s all said and done. And that is exactly what the Stephen Curry Lead  Golden State Warriors, Became the Champion of the World for 2015-2016 NBA season silencing all the critiques who said that a three point/ jump shooting team would never win the NBA Championship because it’s a big man’s league. Eat their words the night, as the Warriors lifted the Larry O’Brien trophy as the world champions for the first time in 60 years. With the start if the new NBA season everyone had their doubts about whether or not the Champs ( Golden State Warriors) would be hungover from all the partying, celebrating and travelling they were doing after winning the NBA Championship. Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors answered that question right away, winning there first 5 games going 5-0. The Golden State Warriors are out to prove that they didn’t win the NBA championship, because they had and easy road but in fact they are a really good basketball team. Since the 5-0 start the Golden State Warriors have not lost any games and have currently broken the record for the best start after 15 games, going 15-0.  The Warriors have started their East Coast Swing playing 7 games in 7 night, one of those games happen to be against the team they played in the NBA Finals the Cleveland Cavaliers. There undefeated record will be in question when they take on King James and Land.
